First, God makes me. Then I get a job. Then I make a house and a car. Then I ask God, “May I have a wife, please?” And I marry her in one hour. Then we have a house and horses and a Christmas tree and decoration.

I just absolutely positively love the cute things kids say…and I am so glad we all have blogs now to share them.
Christine – That is so true! Can you imagine – what if our grandmothers, or mothers, wrote blogs “back then!?” What a treasure. Maybe some wrote journals… but I think blogging is a much different thing. We really are sharing with others, not just recording thoughts in a book.
And that Jonah – he’s figured it all out. With all the car trouble you guys have had, I imagine he already realized the importance of reliable transportation 🙂 Unless, well, maybe that’s why he wants to have horses. As a back-up. 😉
At least he knows the Right Person to ask for a wife. 🙂 I also love that he ranks Christmas trees/horses/decorations all right there together.
Cute? No.
That’s really how he’s going to do it.
I can definitely see Jason’s hand of instruction here. Get a job. Get house. Get a care. Then ask God for a wife. (In other words, get your stuff together to be able to provide for your wife and family).
You might want to work on the 1 hour time frame thing though. Pastorally speaking, I usually like longer than that for premarital counseling.
So cute.
