Someone asked about it after seeing the previous post, and I realized I’ve never mentioned the mystery that is Ella’s hair.
It’s curly.
This is weird. Anyone who has been on tour with me knows how impossible it is to make my hair do anything other than hang, stubborn, straight and lifeless. So, needless to say, these are not my genes. I don’t even know what to do with curls.
But it suits her. Out of all the five, Ella has always been the most unprecedented.
Her hair can be wispy, like this:
It can be wavy, like this:
It can even make ringlets, like this:
The blue eyes are also a mystery.
She’s talkative, and smart, and stubborn, and sweet, and she’ll be two in a month. Whatever shall I do with this one?

AAHH! I miss you all so much! she is gorgeous:) I want to hug her!!
How can she be 2 in a month?! She was just born!!!
When I saw her in December, she still had “baby” hair–short and close to the head. Now she looks like an angel dropped from heaven (as, really, do ALL of your children). I think Ella is here to make us believe in pixies for REAL.
Why be boring when you can be Ella?
Amazing how my two girls look nothing alike and act even more unlike each other!
Omigoodness she is gorgeous!!!
