That’s how old this baby is today:
Except that now she doesn’t seem like such a baby. Even though she’s been walking for five months now, I never really thought of her as a toddler, until recently. Now she’s trying to copy everything we say, and isn’t relying on signs so much to communicate, and is asking to explore and ‘help’ and climb and play. So I think we’ve kind of transitioned into full-fledged toddlerhood.
Not that it’s a bad thing. Not that she hasn’t been trying to be too big since the day she was born. Darn it.
So today we went outside and took pictures of Ella in all her toddler-ness.
These eyes of hers are still blue. I think they came from Grandmommy.

Ella-bedella — Cute as a button!! Smart as Einstein.
Love all of them–but the last shot is breath-taking.
She is just so stinkin’ cute! Can’t believe it’s been 14 months already! And a part of me knows, that I’ll be in this position with my yet unborn daughter before I know it.
Funny how that happens.
Quicker and quicker!!
ooohhhh!! makes me want one.
OHmygoodnesgraciousmesakesalive! Give her a snuggle hug from me, please
There is precociousness written all over her!
Yes, put that girl to work painting the porch! She’s old enough to pull her share of the work around the house.
Seriously though, she is adorable, and that outfit is too cute!!!
